This Thanksgiving weekend found me visiting southwestern CHL and ECHL venues in New Mexico and Arizona. I am new to the CHL play and arenas. I have been to a few games but had never paid much attention to the league except for following some former ECHL players.
Summary of trip:
Visited two new arenas in the CHL: Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, NM and Tims Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, AZ.
Toured Chase Field (Arizona Diamondbacks) and saw an ECHL game at the US Airways Center in Phoenix.
Will do it again but next time will be geared towards baseball, not hockey.
